Beginners Yoga Vol.3 is a 60 minute class that uses clear and easy to follow instructions to introduce each posture. The instructions are combined with relaxing music that sets a mood perfect for yoga. This class starts with a short guided relaxation that focuses the mind and prepares the body. It then continues with 18 yoga postures that include The Cobbler, Warrior 2, Extended Triangle and Snake before concluding with a longer guided relaxation section.
This yoga class CD is accompanied by a yoga guide booklet that highlights the instructions and gives a series of photos for each yoga posture as well as giving information on how to get the most from the class.
Many people prefer using an instructional Yoga CD rather than a DVD because it allows you to focus completely on the voice of the teacher without being tempted to look at a screen to see what the teacher is doing. The booklet that comes with the CD gives clear visual illustrations of everything you need for the class for reference. These are great to carry with you wherever you might need them, whether that might be from room to room in your own home, to the office for a lunch time relaxation or on holiday.
We highly recommend that this yoga class be used in conjunction with our Beginners Vol.1 & Vol.2 yoga class CD's. Using the classes alternately will provide variety and allow exposure to a broader range of basic yoga postures and techniques.
