Soapstone is quarried where nature has deposited minerals such as talc, chlorite, dolomite and magnesite.  Soapstone is soft and warm to the touch and has been used for carvings and domestic applications for many years.

Soapstone is heat resistant, but distributes heat evenly and quickly so essential or fragrance oils are warmed quickly and evenly, gently filling your room with your favourite fragrance.  This round soapstone oil burner has an intricate Om pattern cut out in the body of the burner, which allows the flickering light of the tealight to shine through the Om symbol. Although the colour may vary, the stone alwys has it's own natural and beautiful characteristics.

 Safety information:

• Remove tag and all packaging before use
• Stand the oil warmer on a firm, level heat resistant surface away from flammable objects
• Keep warmer and oils out of reach of children and pets
• Always read any instructions supplied with oils and tealights
• Always start with a clean, dry bowl
• Half fill the bowl with water and add a few drops of the fragrance oil (do not warm pure essential oil with soapstone products)
• never mix oils
• never allow oils to come into contact with a naked flame
• Place a metal encased tealight centrally into the base of the warmer and light with a long match or candle lighter
• Keep face away from warmest while lit
• Never leave lit tealight unattended
• Do not leave the tealight alight for more than 20 minutes
• Ensure that the bowl does not dry out
• Do not add water to hot oil of oil/water to a hot dry bowl.  If more oil/water required, extinguish tealight and wait for unit to cool before refilling
• Blow gently to extinguish the flame when the desired level of fragance has been achieved
